Paul van Rijswijk is a guitar player who grew up with the music of Black Sabbath, Deep Purple and Jimi Hendrix. He started playing guitar at the age of 14 and was playing in his first band at the age of 17 ,by that time he was hugely influenced by the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, US Metal and British Punk. Paul played in a lot of different bands since the early 80’s, and is comfortable in various styles. He has a lot of live experience and toured many times from USA to the Czech Republic. A few examples of bands that Paul plays or played in are: Cerberus, Afterdark, Hammerhawk, Final Heirress, Emerald, The Flying Embryo’s and now also in the Blues Gang! Apart from being a musician, Paul also runs his own fully analog recording studio “Voodoosound studio” where he is producing and recording many national and international artists.
